FILMS
1. The Greatest Showman -
Do I even need to explain? This film was amazing, from the start to the end. The music is still in the charts, despite the film coming out in December (on my birthday). The film brings two amazing actors from my childhood; Zendaya and Zac Efron. I think that the entire cast did an amazing job and are brilliant actors. If you watch this film; the soundtrack will be stuck in your head for weeks afterwards. I'm even going to watch the film at an open air cinema. It is definitely a film worth paying to watch! πππππ
2. Tangled -
My top favourite Disney movie! This film is amazing, the music is beautiful and the story is fantastic. The story is based on Rapunzel being stuck in her tower after being kidnapped. It shows her journey of how she gets reunited with her parents and falls in love with the wanted Flynn Rider. The art is truly amazing and Mandy Moore has a stunning voice. πππππ
3. Moana -
My second favourite Disney movie! The soundtrack is amazing I still listen to it on spotify to this day. I really love that this film is about Moana helping her family. Its different from a stereotypical Disney film because Moana isn't looking for love, shes looking to find herself. πππππ
4. Lift Me Up - Netflix
This movie is smaller but still just as beautiful. The story is about Emma's life after the loss of her mother. You see the relationship between her and her step father develop and how it goes from hate to love. Its quite upsetting but I think it shows an amazing story. It also includes Emma's passion for dance and how she comes to love her hobby again. πππππ
5. Peter Rabbit -
I recently went to see this film at the cinema and really enjoyed it. I think they did an amazing job at picking James Cordon as Peter Rabbit. The art style is beautiful and i really enjoyed the story line. The rabbits are also adorable! I really want a fluffy Peter Rabbit teddy now. ππππ
6. Irreplaceable You - Netflix Film
This film is beautiful. Its about a girl and her fiance dealing with the girl's cancer. The film is truly so upsetting but it is worth watching. The only criticism i would say is the ending wasn't quite clear, but then again when i think about it; i think that it was good how they did it because it shows real life. I don't want to spoil it, but it really is amazing. ππππ
TV SHOWS
1. Riverdale - Netflix
By far my favourite show on Netflix. I love Riverdale! The characters are fantastic and the story line is so hooking that I watch it all at once. The only frustrating thing is that we have to wait ages for more episodes. Jughead is my favourite male character and Cheryl Blossom is my favourite female character. This is another show you need to watch to understand. πππππ
2. Stranger Things - Netflix
Stranger Things is really amazing. I binge watched the entire season in a day or two. It is a little bit creepy, so i wouldn't watch it if you get scared easily. The entire cast are amazing actors even though they're so young! You have to watch to understand the story line, because its a bit confusing if i try to explain it to you. ππππ
3. Sherlock -
Sherlock is just... amazing. One of the best shows on TV! Sherlock is figuring out crimes with his partner John Watson. Sherlock is unbelievably smart. The only downside to Sherlock is that we have to wait years for the next season and there is only 3 episodes per season. Each episode is around 1 hour and 30 minutes. If you're into crime and detective shows, this is a big recommendation. πππππ
4. The Good Witch - Netflix
This show is very good so far! I've nearly finished the 2nd season out of 3. The story is about a family of witches who help people. A man moves next door to them and starts his own doctor place. He however doesn't get many customers as the witch, Cassie gives the people what they need to feel better. Its hard to explain since there is a lot to it, but its worth watching! πππππ
5. Kiss Me First -
I've only actually watched 2 episodes so far but I'm quite enjoying it. Its a bit strange and confusing but I'm sure it will become more clear. The story is about a girl who meets another girl on an online game. The girl she meets finds her in real life and wants her to become part of her 'group' that a boy called Adrian created. However, the group is like a support group for those who need advice and Adrian isn't what he seems. ππππ
